I'm a final year B Tech(H) student of Department of Mechanical Engg. of IIT Kharagpur , number one institute of India.I am currently doing my summer training in Whirlpool of India and my project is to control the rejection of refrigerator's door (which is one the weeknesses of Whirlpool of India Faridabad) due to the defects that are coming in door assemly and main assembly line.
In this project I'm using various six - sigma technique for the analysis and control of the problem( like Process/Product FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Pareto chart, Chi- squ. analysis etc).
I dont have any job experience but given a littile bit of training I can do this work better than the experienced one .
